What is Veterinary Physiotherapy?
Veterinary Physiotherapy is a science, evidence-based profession, used to promote, restore, and maintain physical function and emotional well-being. Veterinary physiotherapy aims to optimise conditions within an animal's body so that it can start to heal. Veterinary Physiotherapy supports rehabilitation of injuries, disease and musculoskeletal abnormalities, incorporating analysis of posture, movement and muscular tone, together with a number of different treatment modalities, including manual therapies, electrotherapies and remedial exercise. It can aid animals of all ages and disciplines.
